I have seen two extreme viewpoints when it comes to how people value the art that they create.
On the one hand, there are those that won't charge, or adequately charge, for the work they do, they feel that charging for it debases their art, or for whatever reason they, or it, just isn't worthy.
On the other hand, I have met those that feel they must charge more than you would expect because they think to charge less debases their art.
Both don't want to discredit their work and because of their viewpoint, albeit opposite extremes, both put their ability to continue to produce their art in jeopardy. One doesn't charge anything, or not enough to sustain themselves, and the other charges so much that no one can afford what they do and as such has little or no income.
There is a middle ground. For the sake of the art take it.
